| Arkansas Southern Dog Rescue Mission Statement Arkansas Southern Dog Rescue (ASDR) is a non-profit organization devoted to rescuing homeless dogs of all ages, particularly from kill shelters The Goals of ASDR Are: To see as many homeless, unwanted, abused, and stray animals placed with reputable rescues or adoptive homes as possible To see that all rescued animals will be provided needed medical care, routine and emergency To make sure that all animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the care of ASDR. To ensure that each animal, while in ASDRs’ care, is provided a loving environment for the purpose of socialization and evaluation of temperament to be sure that adoptive homes and rescues are provided the best information ASDR is able to give regarding each animal To provide community education at every possible level on the importance of spaying and neutering pets To reduce the suffering of the helpless, abandoned animals and make the community aware of the importance of being involved in this mission To prevent all forms of animal cruelty by every legitimate means To end suffering humanely for animals which have incurable infirmities on the advice of a qualified veterinarian To further our mission goals by networking with other animal welfare groups To be ready to join other rescue organizations in aiding animals during times of crisis |

| I wasn't so lucky. I had a wonderful foster mommy for my short little life. She did everything she could to try to make me well and keep me safe - but I was just dumped at that bad place when I was way too young and still needed my real Mommy. I just didn't have all the things my mommy would have given me to help fight off all the bad things those awful worms caused and I just didn't have enough strength to fight everything off. My foster mommy loved me and held me right to the end so at least I know I went to the rainbow bridge being loved! I'll see you all there someday. Signed Hi 5 |
